"Somebody Knows Something": New Series Streaming on Hulu Highlights NCMEC Cases

Sometimes, the answer to a case is closer than we think. It could be a detail someone remembers, a conversation they overheard or a piece of information they have never shared. For many of the cases at NCMEC, we believe the answers could be found if just one person came forward.

That’s the idea behind Freeform’s new true crime series, “Somebody Knows Something,” which takes a deep dive into unsolved cases and the stories of the families still searching for answers. Watch the official trailer for the series below: 

Hosted by Kara Robinson Chamberlain, a former law enforcement officer, trained victim advocate and survivor of her own abduction in 2002, the series highlights cases that may be closer to being solved than they appear.

The first two episodes, which premiered last night, focus on cases of two missing children.

Episode one explores the disappearance of Sabrina Aisenberg, who was just 5 months old when she vanished from her crib in Valrico, Florida, on Nov. 24, 1997. Episode two features the case of Lashaya Stine, who was 16 years old when she disappeared from Aurora, Colorado, in July 2016.

For the families featured in “Somebody Knows Something,” these are more than unsolved cases. They are years of questions, uncertainty and hope for answers. Someone out there may hold the piece of information that could finally make a difference.
